Set aside time to rest, reset, and reconnect as we transition into the quieter, darker energy of winter. Whether you're joining virtually from home or in person at Mishana Yoga, this evening class invites deep rest and nervous system nourishment through a blend of yin and restorative yoga.
In-person attendees will have access to props (bolsters, blankets, blocks, etc.) to support the practice, and optional Reiki assists will be offered to enhance relaxation and energetic balance. Virtual participants are encouraged to create a cozy space with blankets, pillows, and any props available at home.
This 60-minute class is the perfect way to wind down your Monday and ground yourself for the week ahead.
Why make yin/restorative yoga part of your winter routine?
Relieve Stress: Gently release tension and drop into your parasympathetic “rest and digest” mode.
Support Detox & Renewal: Long-held postures and mindful breathing help stimulate the body’s natural detox pathways.
Balance Energy: As activity decreases with the season, this practice helps you stay rooted and centered.
Improve Sleep: Evening practice calms the mind and prepares the body for deep, restorative rest.
Emotional Recalibration: Restore emotional balance and connect inward.
Take this time for yourself and invite rest, clarity, and spaciousness into your winter weeks.
